MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic, and energetic individuals to fill the following vacancy:

Data Platform & Governance Lead

Responsible for delivering the data platform, data quality management, and data governance to support MediCard’s data-driven culture and decision-making. Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in building data reporting capabilities organization-wide using a single source of truth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Lead testing of data loads, pipelines, schema changes, and data models.
  2. Resolve issues escalated in data warehouse/platform use.
  3. Develop and implement comprehensive Data Governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  4. Support business requirements and capabilities for data, leading architectural strategies and implementation.
  5. Drive programs and initiatives in data platform and governance to meet roadmap plans and KPIs.
  6. Promote a data-driven culture and ownership within the organization.
  7. Ensure optimal performance, security compliance, and data integrity of MediCard Data Platforms.
  8. Align with stakeholders to define and execute the data platform roadmap, providing progress updates.
  9. Support business functions’ data extraction and reporting needs.

Communication
  • Engage with internal stakeholders on data requirements and governance mechanisms.
  • Partner with vendors/suppliers for service delivery.
  • Present ideas and updates effectively to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Business Skills: Leadership, stakeholder management, project and process management.
  • Technical Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields; 10+ years in IT/data management; 5+ years in leadership roles; experience in data analysis, management, and visualization tools.
