Responsibilities Compile and classify goods in accordance with the Australian Customs Tariff and relevant import regulations. Demonstrate proven experience in tariff classification for Australian importers. Vet and review import documentation to ensure compliance with Australian border and customs regulations. Verify the accuracy of key import documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations. Ensure all documentation aligns with Australian customs requirements and internal company compliance standards. Accurately classify imported goods under the Harmonized System (HS) and ensure consistency with customs legislation and company procedures. Qualification Knowledgeable in EDI or incoterms. With experience in using Cargowise, Expedient or similar systems. Graduate of BS Customs Administration or other related courses. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in shipments classification. Strong knowledge of customs laws, tariff classification systems (e.g., HS Code), and trade regulations. He/she must ensure accuracy of data entry.
