Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for the product development activities that involves conceptualization, planning, budget definition, capabilities assessment, product requirements definition, customer interactions, progress monitoring, endorsement to manufacturing, and maintenance of related documentation.
  • Prepares a Product Development Plan which serves as a comprehensive record of the product in terms of specifications, quality objectives and requirements, resources specific to the products, required verification, validation, monitoring, measurement, inspection, and test activities specific to the product and the criteria for product acceptance.
  • Creates a detailed business plan or opportunity analysis for Advanced (R&D) and Partnered Projects which requires a more in-depth planning and research.
  • Creates product proposals for projects defined by the Marketing and Sales Teams such as Commercial Developments, and Systems Integration Projects which more or less already has a defined target market.
Education
  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering
Skills and Experience
  • Good technical knowledge in consumer electronics products. Have strong problem identification, definition and solving skills. Self motivated and with effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Description
  • College Graduate
  • Knowledgeable on New Product Introduction and Project Management
  • Knowledgeable on Technical Drawings, Product Design and Quality Documents
  • Knowledgeable on Kaizen, 5S, Plastic Injection and Assembly process
  • Responsible for the new model development activities during engineering build, pre-production and build and start of production
  • 4M preparation related to New Model, New Parts, New Variant & Change Notice
  • Execute and manage project schedule in Plastic Injection / Assembly Process
  • Purchase materials, machines, spare parts, and equipment related to new product development after getting approval from Head of Departments
  • Process Buy Off prior to trial stage
  • Conduct feasibility studies to every New Product if can be developed using existing process in the assembly line
  • Preparation of Technical and Evaluation Report for quality issues encountered during and after new product development
