Service Associate – Hygiene & Sanitation at Shangri-La Group Location: Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu is a multi‑faceted leisure destination spanning 13 hectares of lush greenery and a 350‑meter white‑sand beach. It offers luxury rooms and suites, beach‑side dining, and a range of recreational activities. Responsibilities Assist the Hygiene & Sanitation Manager/Supervisor in implementing the Shangri-La Food Safety Management System (SFSMS), including HACCP and ISO22000 across all food‑handling areas. Support daily hygiene operations through monitoring, inspections, and documentation to ensure consistent food safety and sanitation. Ensure accurate and timely completion of hygiene‑related records such as calibration logs, audit data, checklists, and incident reports. Coordinate with Culinary, Food & Beverage Service, Stewarding, Engineering and other departments to facilitate hygiene activities, corrective actions and reporting. Provide administrative, technical and logistical support for internal audits, microbiological sampling and other verification programmes. Promote a culture of food safety and cleanliness through teamwork, professionalism and adherence to Shangri-La policies. Qualifications & Attributes Passion for Food & Beverage. Enjoys interacting with people. Team‑player with strong communication skills in English and local language. Experience in a luxury restaurant or 5‑star hotel preferred. Self‑starter, praised for learning new trends, delivering high‑quality service. Willingness to work shift schedules.
