2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Responsible for managing the financial and accounting operations, activities and services of the Foundation and its members, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and organizational procedures. Responsibilities Accounting and Bookkeeping Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions Process payables to ensure timely and accurate payments, monitor account balances and expenditures, and respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments Process receivables to ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, including sending of invoices, tracking and receipting of payments, and resolving discrepancies Assist in the preparation of budget and expense reports Coordinate the tracking and monitoring of financial instruments/products such as bank accounts, loans, investments, etc. Assist in the reconciliation of records Coordination and Stakeholders Coordinate with Comptroller, accounting and payroll services providers, banks, and other relevant stakeholders for the timely and accurate updating of financial records, processing of payments, generation of reports, cash management, etc. Personnel and Payroll Coordinate and assist personnel-related matters, including but not limited to Developing pay structure and other benefits Ensuring timely and accurate payroll, compliance of mandatories, etc. Data and System Management Maintain, manage and coordinate necessary databases, inventories, etc. Implement and maintain an auditable and transparent financial model and infrastructure for the Foundation and its members Assist in and coordinate budget forecasting, preparation, consolidation and structuring Assist in monitoring and analyzing budget utilization and management, including cash flow and cash projections Assist in managing and monitoring funds and grants, including the preparation of financial reports in compliance with grant applications and/or grant requirements Compliance and Audit Assist in and coordinate the filing, processing and recording of taxes and other finance-related regulatory requirements Assist in and coordinate internal and external audits, including the preparation of financial statements Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, tax laws, and other related requirements Develop and use tracking tools to monitor the performance of operations Administrative Provide administrative and operational support to the day-to-day operations of the Foundation Provide support in strategic planning through alignment of functional goals and responsibilities Assist in the development and continuous improvement of relevant systems, policies, procedures, etc. Assist in developing, managing, maintaining and updating files, databases, and other info management systems, including the coordination of institutional documents Support board relations functions, including the preparation of reports and documents and the coordination of schedules and other requirements Organization Immediate Superior: Operations Head Peers (reporting to the same superior): Programs Head, HR and Admin Officer Job Specifications Education and Professional Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA Experience Minimum of five (5) years experience in finance and accounting in non-profits At least three (3) years experience in a relevant supervisory role Technical Extensive knowledge in non-profit accounting In depth knowledge of regulatory issues, accounting and taxes Experience with accounting software and systems Professional Analytical, problem-solving, presentation and leadership skills Good verbal and written communication skills Time and task management skills High level of attention to detail towards accuracy, especially when dealing with financial data Service-orientedness and commitment to high quality service Ability to work collaboratively, as well as motivate others Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Lopez Group Foundation, Inc. by 2x Get notified about new Finance Officer jobs in Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
