Job Summary The Transport Supervisor is responsible for planning and organizing priorities related to transport activities and tasks; recognizes and obtains required equipment and/or materials that are needed to do the job; accomplishes tasks within established timelines; understands obstacles/ roadblocks; and makes alternative plans to ensure timely task accomplishment within the strategic direction and targets of 2GO Logistics. Duties and Responsibilities Ensures profitability and efficient management of Transport. Identifies, recommends, and implements operational procedures for the transfer and delivery of cargo at the shortest lead-time and cost efficient. Streamlines processes and optimizes utilization of resources. Plans cost-savings initiatives and streamlines processes and optimizes utilization of resources. Analyzing inefficiencies and initiates corrective actions to meet transport operations financial objectives. Reviews On-time-Delivery performance and discuss with internal business units resolutions under performance against desired target. Initiates operating cost reduction by reviewing and enhancing existing processes and ensure documentation of such. Responsible for providing on-time information to management in order to execute business plans in efficient manner. Does regular representation and business reviews with the Transport Partner and handles and resolves clients’ complaints Reviews and approves transport billings, invoices, and other relevant documents. Performs other functions that may be assigned by immediate leader from time to time. Qualifications Graduate of any 4-year business course With 4 years' work experience in Logistics With working knowledge in any Warehouse Management System (WMS) Has good communication skills, analytical skills, detail oriented and records management Willing to work on shifting schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
