About the Role

LOLC Bank Philippines Inc. is seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead the Bank's HR function. This pivotal role will oversee the full spectrum of human resources operations—including recruitment, talent development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll, training, and compliance.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of HR will serve as a strategic partner to management, ensuring that all HR strategies and initiatives are aligned with the Bank's business goals, labor laws, and industry standards. The role is instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture that supports employee engagement, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the Bank's HR strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee all core HR functions, including:
  • Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
  • Employee Relations and Labor Compliance
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration
  • Performance Management and Organizational Development
  • Training and Learning & Development Programs
  • HR Policy Development and Implementation
  • Drive organizational culture initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Ensure HR compliance with all local labor laws and regulatory requirements relevant to the banking and financial services sector.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior management on people-related strategies, talent planning, and organizational change.
  • Manage HR data, analytics, and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team to foster continuous growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or senior HR role.
  • Preferably with HR experience in the banking, lending, financing, or other highly regulated sectors.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices in financial services.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end HR operations.
  • Demonstrated success in driving employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and people management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and regulated environment.
