Position Overview The Accounting Associate is responsible for supporting the accounting and finance team in accurately recording, analyzing, and reporting financial transactions. This role ensures the integrity of financial records, assists in monthly closing activities, and supports compliance with statutory and internal reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities Record and review accounting entries such as sales, purchases, adjustments, and accruals. Assist in the preparation of financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and other reports. Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. Support tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements. Coordinate with other departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records. Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits and regulatory examinations. Monitor budget versus actual performance and provide relevant reports. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Accountant or Finance Manager. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Zoho exposure is an advantage. Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial work. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
