Responsibilities Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other related documents. Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software and ensure its accuracy and completeness. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and statements for review by management. Support Audits: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. Communication: Liaise with other colleagues to resolve finance related issues and answer queries. Assist with Month-End and Year-End Close Processes: Help in closing monthly and yearly financial accounts by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring all entries are accurately recorded. Qualifications Associate with Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures. Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is advantageous. Experience in negotiating with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) will be a plus point to the position Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or other similar programs) will be an added advantage. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial record-keeping. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and financial issues. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. Ability to work well within a team and provide support to the accounting department.
