Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies, identifying and resolving software defects, and driving continuous improvement in our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Reviews and translates requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback to product developers
  • Creates, maintains and executes automation test scripts
  • Analyzes automation results and investigate failures
  • Designs detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities, defect frequency, first time pass rate
  • Keeps up-to-date on latest test software and frameworks
  • Drives software development process to quality-centric methodologies
  • Identifies Quality Assurance process bottlenecks and design and implement solutions
  • Controls, updates and distributes new and revised quality standards and technical changes
  • Prepares and deliver formal quality audit reports
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, notably in computer information science or computer science
  • 10+ years experience in software quality assurance
  • Expert in writing broad test plans and test cases
  • Expert in Cucumber, Selenium and open-source testing frameworks
  • Expert in different testing techniques i.e. UI testing, Automated testing; familiar with behaviour driven testing
  • Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods
  • Constantly learns from both success and failure
  • Good verbal and written communication; effectively articulates technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
  • Experiments with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next
