Position Title: Sales and Marketing Assistant

Reports To: Sales and Marketing Manager

Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary:

The Sales and Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing team in executing campaigns, managing client communications, and maintaining up-to-date market data. This role involves handling administrative tasks, preparing marketing materials, coordinating events, and assisting with lead generation activities. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team with lead generation, client follow-ups, and appointment scheduling.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems.
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals and quotations as needed.
  • Marketing Assistance:
  • Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, emails, and newsletters.
  • Manage social media platforms and assist with content scheduling.
  • Help coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional events.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Handle routine administrative duties, including filing, data entry and correspondence.
  • Organize marketing and sales documentation for easy accessibility.
  • Prepare reports on sales performance and marketing activities.
  • Event Coordination:
  • Assist in planning and executing trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate events.
  • Manage event logistics, registrations, and promotional materials.
  • Market Research:
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales or marketing support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
