HR & GA Generalist (Manila, Philippines) Add expected salary to your profile for insights We are looking for an HR & GA Specialist who will be a sole contributor responsible for managing the full scope of HR and General Affairs functions for our Philippine office . This role will work closely with regional HR teams and support the Philippine Country Manager in all aspects of office and people management . The scope of this position spans from strategic planning and execution to daily operational support , including payroll processing , recruitment , new hire onboarding , employee engagement , office operations , policy implementation , and providing HR guidance to site leadership. Job Description 1. Payroll / Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Process monthly payroll; collect and verify employee data for accuracy. Handle statutory and tax contributions (e.g., PIT). Manage group insurance plans, including vendor evaluation and package negotiation. Collaborate with HQ (Taiwan) to design and recommend competitive local C&B packages. 2. Recruitment Lead end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, shortlisting, offer negotiation, and onboarding. Aim to close each vacancy within an average of 1.5 months . Provide recruitment advice to hiring managers, including candidate evaluation and compensation proposals. 3. Employee Relations Plan and implement employee engagement activities to foster a positive work culture and improve retention. Advise management on employee relations and disciplinary matters. Coordinate quarterly and annual performance review cycles. Support offboarding and termination processes when needed. 4. Training & Development Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs. Organize internal training sessions as needed. Oversee day-to-day office operations, including pantry supplies and facility management. Coordinate office cleaning and maintenance services. Monitor and control the office operational budget. Requirements 1. Experience Minimum 5 years of in-house HR experience, with expertise in Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Relations . 2. Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3. Skills Strong knowledge of local labor laws , regulations, and HR best practices. Excellent project management , communication , and interpersonal skills . Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint . 4. Personality Able to work across regions in a fast-paced , collaborative environment. Comfortable navigating cross-departmental coordination and adapting to different management styles. 5. Language Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required. Chinese communication skills would be a significant plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
