The Vendor Operations Lead oversees daily supplier operations, drives performance, and leads a team focused on seamless vendor onboarding, inventory flow, and compliance. This role collaborates closely with both suppliers and internal teams to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to overall business growth.
Job Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Vendor Operations team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Manage timely purchase order (PO) processing, inbound and return-to-supplier (RTS) coordination, and prompt resolution of supplier-related issues
• Ensure accurate tracking of inventory, including available-to-promise (ATP) and blackstock items, as well as proper product listing maintenance
• Collaborate with warehouse, business development, and finance teams to streamline delivery processes, payment cycles, and address vendor concerns
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as fulfillment rates, product quality, and customer feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct vendor training sessions and serve as the primary point of contact for escalations
• Drive sales growth through strategic vendor collaboration, alignment of commercial goals, and enhanced sourcing efficiency
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in brand management, vendor operations, supply chain, or a similar field
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with solid negotiation capabilities
• Knowledgeable in supplier payment processes, inventory control, and key operational performance indicators (KPIs)
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team to achieve and surpass goals
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality standards
