Job Title: Accountant

Location: Clark, Pampanga

Shift: 9:00PM - 6:00AM (Monday-Friday) Night Shift

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Responsibilities
  • Follow company processes and protocols.
  • Daily awareness and tracking of deadlines in Asana.
  • Maintain personal email inbox.
  • Maintain a 24-hour email response time.
  • Send daily plans for the day and end of day summaries.
  • Track time in QB time.
  • Complete bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks.
  • Complete accounting support tasks assigned by Senior Accountants and/or Team Leader.
  • Bookkeeping for Monthly reporting clients.
  • Follow up with clients who have not responded on project inquiries.
  • Attach documentation to payroll and expense transactions.
  • Organize other work papers.
  • Bookkeeping for Quarterly Clients.
  • Review own work for accuracy.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card and loan accounts.
  • Review all reports related to the monthly closing process.
  • Collaborate with Senior Staff Accountants on report reviews.
  • Download and organize payroll tax returns for relevant clients.
  • Submit and pay sales tax in multiple states.
  • Participate in 1099 process - collect W9s, ensure vendor information is correct, generate Expenses by Vendor reports for clients engaging FFS for 1099.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • At least 2 years of end to end accounting experience including but not limited to Financial Statement, Accounts Payable, Payroll Entries, and Accrual Accounting.
  • Experienced in month end close procedures
  • Ability to handle multiple clients
  • 2+ years QBO, Xero, or similar cloud-based accounting software
  • 1+ years Bill.com experience or similar bill-pay applications
