Overview
Preparation and processing of seafarer’s POEA employment contract and liaise with related government agency.
Responsibilities- To create, update and upload POEA Contract in the Principal’s crewing system.
- Monitors and checks the accuracy and validity of all issued Overseas Employment Certificates.
- Monitors and updates accreditation and enrollment of principals and vessels respectively.
- Prepares, submits, monitors and maintains reports as required by the principal or local government Agencies.
- Assists Visa Officer on application of accreditation to the required non-USA embassies.
- Files and releases the required USA and Non-USA visa.
- Responsible for the quality of his work in compliance with ISO 9001 Standards.
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
- Assist in E-registration updates/amendments of crew to POEA.
- Assist in online application for STCW Certificates of crew to MARINA.
To be considered for the Officer, Liaison role in the PACC Shipping Phils., Inc., candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Proven experience in liaising with external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
