Our esteemed client is seeking a Head of Marketing who will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to grow our user base and increase brand awareness.
Job summary:
As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to grow our user base and increase brand awareness. You will work closely with the CEO, product and partnerships team, creative team, social media team, creator and communities (C&C) team, and other stakeholders to develop and implement marketing campaigns that align with our overall business goals.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Partner with the Content Creator Project Lead to align marketing strategies with project objectives, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach.
- Create and implement targeted programs and campaigns designed to attract, engage, and retain content creators, driving user growth and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the product team to identify and integrate new app features that resonate with the target market, enhancing user engagement and content creation capabilities.
- Regularly attend on-ground events, representing the brand and establishing relationships with potential content creators, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Work closely with the creative team to develop visually appealing and engaging marketing materials that resonate with the target audience.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to achieve business goals
- Build and lead a team of marketing professionals to execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and content marketing
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure that marketing campaigns are aligned with product development and product launches
- Collaborate with Creators & Communities team to ensure our products are aligned with our users and stakeholders needs
- Analyze and report on marketing performance, providing insights to the executive team on marketing effectiveness and ROI
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including agencies and vendors
- Leverage data-driven insights to continuously refine and optimize marketing strategies, ensuring maximum ROI and user acquisition efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Provide timely reports and updates to project stakeholders on marketing initiatives, performance metrics, and progress towards acquisition goals.
Key job requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring content creators, influencers, or users in a digital or technology-driven environment
- Exceptional strategic thinking and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering productive relationships with internal teams, external partners, and industry professionals
- Experienced collaborating with cross- functional teams, particularly with product development and design, to ensure alignment with user needs and market trends
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive informed decision- making
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content trends, and influencer marketing strategies
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing programs that resonate with target audiences
- Willingness to participate in weekly face- to- face sessions with the team and attend on- ground events as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
