Overview Procurement Staff role with responsibilities in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management to support project needs. Responsibilities Purchases assigned materials and services by sourcing, canvassing, bidding, discussing specs/work scope, negotiating, and evaluating bids prior to recommendation and award. Perform value analysis, make-or-buy studies, evaluate import vs. local options, endorse substitutes/alternatives, and explore viable options to determine the best recommendation. Conduct order administration and logistics with suppliers and requisitioners (e.g., handling rejects, warranty claims, order changes/cancellations, staggered delivery arrangements, long-term supply contracting, order/contract extensions, and verification visits as needed). Perform import processing for materials ordered through indent from foreign sources. Monitor market, industry, and technology trends that affect commodity costs or potential supply disruptions; stay informed on regulations and import rules/procedures affecting costs and supply. Conduct supply research and development to identify new sources and alternative materials for supplier accreditation. Comply with safety and health procedures and regulations. Support and implement Environmental Management System considerations in execution of duties. Adhere to Policies/Procedures, Employee Code of Ethics and Conduct, and Corporate Governance. Protect intellectual property and confidential information. Willing to be assigned in Anonas, Quezon City and to travel to project sites as necessary.
