Job Overview

Our client is a leading company in the information services sector, providing innovative solutions in the back office and support operations. They are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive the company’s operational efficiency and overall business growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the outsourcing industry, with a preference for a background in infrastructure or transportation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead the day-to-day operations of the company, focusing on back-office and support services in the information services industry.
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and ensure top-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational activities with the company’s goals and objectives, driving growth and operational excellence.
  • Analyze performance metrics and operational data to identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to maintain cost-effective operations and ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the operations team, promoting a high-performance culture based on accountability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and industry best practices, maintaining high-quality service and operational integrity.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners, ensuring service delivery is consistent with expectations and requirements.
  • Leverage technology and operational systems to improve back-office processes, automate workflows, and drive business growth.
  • Evaluate and implement strategies to scale operations, supporting long-term organizational success and profitability.

What our Client is Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in operations management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Solid experience in the outsourcing industry, especially in managing back-office and information services operations.
  • Experience in infrastructure or transportation sectors is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead operational improvements, drive efficiency, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on team collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in budgeting, financial planning, and resource management.
  • Ability to manage change in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Knowledge of technology platforms and tools that improve operational efficiency.
