Tax Compliance Officer

ensures that all client tax obligations and business registration requirements are met accurately and on time. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Onboarding for TCA Services: Lead the onboarding process for new tax compliance and advisory clients, ensuring accurate setup of client profiles, schedules, and requirements.

Tax Filings and Compliance

  • Prepare and file all required tax returns (monthly, quarterly, and annual) accurately and on time.

Business Registration & Updates (BRU) Services

  • Lead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of business registration, permit renewals, and updates with relevant government agencies (e.g., BIR, SEC, LGU).

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure that all tax processes comply with BIR and other regulatory requirements; proactively flag potential issues or risks.

Client Communication Support

  • Maintain clear communication with clients regarding schedules, requirements, and status of filings, in coordination with the Relationship Manager.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain organized and updated client records, working papers, and tax schedules; submit reports to the Tax Manager as required.

Process Improvement

  • Recommend and implement improvements in tax workflows, documentation, and efficiency.

Team Support

  • Provide guidance to Tax Specialists and collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.

Adhoc Tasks

  • Other projects and tasks may be assigned from time to time, as needed by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field

Experience:

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in accounting and/or tax compliance and filing

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with government e-filing systems (eBIRForms, eFPS, SEC systems, LGU portals).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client coordination.

WORKING CONDITIONS
