Job Overview

Tax Compliance Officer / Tax Compliance Analyst roles across multiple locations. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file all required tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax, local business taxes) accurately and on time.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate tax records for auditing and compliance.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper tax-related entries.
  • Advise on tax-efficient strategies and business structures.
  • Handle tax audits from internal and external auditors or tax authorities; respond to assessments and notices.
  • Prepare documents and support for tax positions; resolve discrepancies identified during audits.
  • Review compliance of all tax returns and reports submitted to BIR & SEC where applicable; stay updated on regulatory changes.
  • Support end-to-end processes including registration, permits, SEP/BR updates, and government registrations where required.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities as needed.
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and schedules to support tax compliance and SOX/internal control requirements.
  • Assist with transfer pricing documentation, R&D incentives, indirect taxes, and country-by-country reporting where relevant.
  • Communicate with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, HR and other departments to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA is preferred.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in tax compliance or related roles (varies by posting).
  • Strong knowledge of national and local tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures; experience with tax audits and interactions with tax authorities.
  • Proficiency in accounting/tax software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, BIR eFPS/eBIRForms) and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work in specified locations (e.g., BGC Taguig, EPZA Rosario Cavite, Cavite, Caloocan City, Makati) and to adapt to hybrid or night-shift arrangements as required.
