Job DescriptionROLE SUMMARY
The Tax Compliance Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of tax filings, schedules, and reports for NTMI clients. This role ensures compliance with government requirements and supports the TCA Manager in managing day-to-day client tax obligations. The Tax Specialist contributes to client satisfaction by maintaining high accuracy and helping the client stay audit-ready, while also participating in process improvements and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Onboarding for TCA Services: Assist in the onboarding process for new tax compliance and advisory clients, ensuring accurate setup of client profiles, schedules, and requirements.
- Tax Filings Preparation: Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (BIR and local taxes) for assigned clients accurately and on time. Prepare reconciliations, supporting schedules, and maintain complete working papers for all tax filings.
- Business Registration & Updates (BRU) Services: Assist in the preparation, submission, and follow-up of business registration, permit renewals, and updates with relevant government agencies (e.g., BIR, SEC, LGU).
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all assigned clients are up-to-date with tax deadlines and flag potential compliance risks to the Tax Officer/Manager.
- Audit & Regulatory Support: Support client audits by providing timely and organized documentation.
- Process Efficiency & Team Support: Suggest process improvements and provide assistance to the team to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Adhoc Tasks: Other projects and tasks may be assigned from time to time, as needed by the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field
Experience: Ideally 1–2 years in tax compliance, general accounting, or similar roles. Fresh graduates may apply.
Skills:
- Understanding of Philippine taxation (VAT, withholding taxes, income tax).
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets; experience with eBIRForms or eFPS preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hybrid Schedule: Primarily 3 days onsite per week (including Mondays), with flexibility to work remotely on other days. S/he may be required to report onsite on additional critical days as determined by the direct manager (e.g., project meetings, client visits, or other business needs).
