Overview

As a SEO specialist, your key purpose is to ensure optimized visibility for websites through executing keyword research and analysis, creating backlinks and meta tags, monitoring competitor activity, reporting on website traffic metrics and conversions — all of which will contribute towards delivering an overall effective SEO strategy. The duties you perform each day may vary depending upon the company’s individual needs; however this role offers development opportunities that can support your career growth.

Responsibilities
  • On-Page SEO Tasks: Keyword Research, Content Optimization, Technical SEO, Schema Markup, Image Optimization
  • Off-Page SEO Tasks: Competitor Analysis, Link Building, Social Signals, Local SEO
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Rank Tracking, Traffic Analysis, Strategy Refinement
  • Client Communication: Prepare detailed reports for clients, cover ranking improvements, traffic growth, and milestones; provide actionable insights and discuss the long-term SEO roadmap
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and algorithms: Understanding how search engines work and optimization techniques
  • Keyword research: Identify relevant keywords and phrases for a website and use them effectively in content and meta tags
  • Content optimization: Improve website content for search engines and users
  • Technical SEO: Understanding of site structure, meta tags, redirects, and crawlability
  • Analytical skills: Analyze competitor websites, rankings, and traffic to identify improvements
  • Writing and communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Web Development: Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for optimizing site structure and layout
  • Marketing: Knowledge of digital marketing principles, including SEO, PPC, and social media
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving SEO trends and updates
  • Project management: Ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple projects with deadlines
Compensation and Progression

Earn between ₱300K - ₱500K per year (₱20K to ₱48K/month) on basic salary with uncapped commissions. In 1–2 years, depending on results, progression to SENIOR SEO SPECIALIST or DIGITAL MARKETING TRAINER is possible.
