Responsibilities

  • 1.Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable
  • 2. Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • 3. Conduct regular audits of financial transactions, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
  • 4. Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both physical and electronic, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
  • 5. Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support as required.
  • 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • 7. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • 8. Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance and recommending adjustments as needed.
  • 9. Support the finance team in special projects, process improvements, and system implementations as required.
  • 10. Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee wages, bonuses, and benefits.
  • 11. Ensure compliance with BIR payroll tax regulations, including timely submission of payroll taxes and required reports.
  • 12. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, tax rates, and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
  • 13. Reconcile payroll data to general ledger accounts, addressing discrepancies and resolving issues as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1. Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Accounting).
  • 2. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion.
  • 3. Attention to detail and accuracy in processing data
  • 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 5. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • 6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • 8. Strong mathematical and numerical aptitude.
  • 9. Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.
