Quicken Specialist with Accounting Background

We are seeking a Quicken Specialist with a strong accounting background to support a U.S.-based client in rebuilding and organizing their Quicken account. This engagement will begin on a project-based basis to complete the account reconstruction, with the possibility of transitioning into an hourly/part-time role for ongoing account maintenance and reporting support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rebuild and organize the client’s Quicken account to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Record and categorize financial transactions correctly
  • Reconcile accounts to maintain data integrity
  • Generate financial reports and summaries for client review
  • Recommend improvements for efficient account tracking and reporting
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and updates as needed
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Quicken Desktop Classic (required)
  • Solid background in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance
  • Hands-on experience with data entry, reconciliation, and report generation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
  • Availability to work in U.S. Central hours for direct collaboration
Engagement & Service Fee
  • This role will begin as a project-based engagement to rebuild the account. After reviewing workload requirements, there may be an option to transition to an hourly/part-time arrangement for ongoing account management. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
Next Step – Skills Assessment
  • Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a skills assessment to demonstrate their proficiency with Quicken Desktop Classic and basic accounting tasks. This will help us and the client gauge your technical expertise and attention to detail.
