Job Description

The Category Management / Key Account Manager (KAM) role focuses on building relationships with sellers and brands in the Fashion category and driving revenue through data-driven account management, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities
  • Establish strong relations with sellers/brands, supporting their performance, and functioning as the primary contact point
  • Manage an account portfolio under a product category for Lazada (Fashion – Women’s, Men’s, Kid’s, Sports, Bags, and Accessories)
  • Identify key assortment opportunities, provide insights to sellers and brands regarding sales levers (price, promotions, etc.), and build a sales team priority plan to assist execution
  • Help sellers and brands in planning and maintaining stock availability and assortment quality
  • Suggest appropriate packages, marketing services, and campaign participation
  • Collaborate with points of contact to build marketing plans across channels (platform, social media, display, etc.)
  • Ensure ambitious revenue growth by developing strong analytics to regularly evaluate business performance (daily/weekly/monthly) and optimize further support (e.g., marketing, pricing, product selection)
Operational Focus / Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support brand needs, meet metrics, and drive business growth
  • Collaborate with relevant support teams to develop strategic plans
  • Work with teams to execute category and account strategy to achieve key measures (e.g., revenue, orders, buyers)
Technical Skills
  • Utilize dashboards and spreadsheets to organize, analyze, and summarize data for insight generation
  • Utilize tools to produce creative assets (banners and posters) to support placement requirements and visibilities
  • Utilize office software tools to create reports
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's/College Degree related to Sales, Marketing, and/or Business (retail and marketing knowledge and experience would be a plus)
  • 1-3 years of sales and account management experience for sellers and brands in Fashion (shoes, clothing, bags, accessories, etc.)
  • Ability to build rapport and professional relationships with Key Accounts (big sellers/brands)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with business acumen
  • Innovative problem-solving skills; dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Adept with dashboards, spreadsheets, and other online applications
  • Self-motivated, driven, enthusiastic for e-commerce
  • Flexible, adaptive, and versatile – able to work with different people and teams
  • Fluency in English (proficiency in Chinese would be a plus)
