1. Educational Background Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration , Operations Management , Food Technology , Hotel and Restaurant Management , or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Business Management or related discipline is an advantage. 2. Work Experience At least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the food manufacturing, bakery, or retail industry . Proven track record in managing multi-branch bakery operations or production facilities. Experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and quality assurance within a food business setup. 3. Technical and Functional Skills Strong knowledge of bakery operations , including production flow, product quality, food safety, and hygiene standards. Proficient in operations planning , sales forecasting , and cost control management . Familiar with inventory management systems , point-of-sale (POS) software, and MS Office / ERP tools . Ability to implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for both production and retail operations. Understanding of Philippine labor laws , occupational safety , and food regulatory requirements (BFAD, DOLE, LGU, etc.) . 4. Leadership and Management Competencies Excellent leadership and people management skills; capable of supervising diverse teams (production, logistics, branch staff). Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Skilled in coaching and performance management to improve productivity and employee engagement. 5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino. Capable of building strong relationships with area supervisors, production staff, suppliers, and senior management . Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle feedback and ensure excellent service quality. 6. Personal Attributes Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all business dealings. Flexible, adaptive, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willing to travel to branch locations and work extended hours when required. Passionate about bakery operations, continuous improvement, and product innovation.
