Job Summary The Academic Operations Manager is responsible for managing the overall academic and administrative functions of the culinary school. The role ensures that all programs run efficiently—from student enrollment to graduation—by providing operational support to the Kitchen Director and ensuring compliance with academic policies and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Academic Administration Oversee the scheduling, documentation, and implementation of all academic programs and classes. Ensure all course requirements, student records, and grading systems are accurate and updated. Manage academic calendars, training schedules, and program logistics. Support the Kitchen Director in aligning academic operations with the school’s goals and standards. 2. Student Services and Support Supervise the end-to-end student journey, including registration, attendance, evaluation, and certification. Coordinate with the Kitchen Director regarding student feedback and performance updates. Handle student concerns related to schedules, requirements, and documentation. Assist in organizing student internships, on-the-job training, and external culinary engagements. 3. Operational and Administrative Support Ensure smooth coordination between academic departments, admissions, finance, and facilities. Maintain academic records, documentation, and reports for internal and regulatory use. Monitor facility readiness and ensure all classrooms and kitchens are equipped and operational. Support inventory management and procurement related to academic requirements. 4. Compliance and Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with school policies, accreditation standards, and DOLE or TESDA requirements. Implement and monitor academic policies and procedures to maintain educational quality. Prepare reports and documentation required for audits and accreditation reviews. 5. Coordination and Reporting Work closely with the Kitchen Director to provide data and updates on academic progress, student performance, and school operations. Submit regular operational and performance reports to the Kitchen Director. Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and student satisfaction. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred). At least 3–5 years of experience in academic administration or operations, preferably in a culinary or vocational school setting. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Knowledge of education compliance, DOLE/TESDA regulations, and academic documentation. Strong coordination and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced learning environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
