Since 1986, it has enabled market entry and brand growth for more than 100 luxury beauty brands. LUXASIA has established Joint Ventures with major groups and operates with a diverse team across 15 markets. Role: Senior Manager, Business Development. This role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer & Director, New Businesses and is responsible for business development – acquiring new brands and managing existing brands in LUXASIA’s portfolio, in partnership with Country Managers. Role Purpose Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer & Director, New Businesses, this role is responsible for business development – acquiring new brands and managing existing brands in LUXASIA’s portfolio and extending them to new markets, in partnership with Country Managers. As the company expands across the region, the Business Development team will drive growth by onboarding new brands and extending important brands across the region. The role requires strong analytical and modelling skills, as well as communication and stakeholder management skills to work with senior brand executives and internal stakeholders. Main Roles and Responsibilities Source potential brands for addition to LUXASIA’s portfolio, independently and with support from the Strategy & Development team Manage existing brand partners and extend partnerships to new markets Work with Country Managers, Regional MDs, and Leadership Team to develop strategic opportunities Develop business plans and excel financial models to evaluate new opportunities Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders, including quarterly updates to the Leadership Team Collaborate with BD team members on larger, strategic projects Qualifications and Experience Backgrounds in Business or Corporate Development, Business Consulting, FP&A Experience in beauty/FMCG/retail industry preferred; strong knowledge and affinity for business development and beauty/adjacent sectors Ability to work with cross-functional teams internally (Sales & Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) and externally to manage strategic partnerships Expertise in financial modelling and business planning Experience in contractual/vendor negotiation is an advantage Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentations) with gravitas to drive discussions with efficiency and diplomacy Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Highly adaptable, quick thinker; comfortable as both individual contributor and team player Diversity, Equity and Inclusion LUXASIA aspires to build a One Team of talents reflecting the diversity of operating markets.
