The Payroll Specialist assists the entire payroll process to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Payroll Specialist facilitates employees’ government benefit transactions, maintains accurate records, and addresses payroll‑related inquiries. Duties And Responsibilities Administer payroll and assist with employees’ payroll concerns and questions. Process reimbursements, including the identification and implementation of expense management software. Manage employees’ data records. Manage payroll tax and other compliance requirements. Process employees’ government related transactions. Coordinate with HR and other departments for employee details essential in the payroll process. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related courses. Previous experience as a Payroll Specialist, preferably within a company of a similar size. Completion of a bookkeeping or similar course is highly advantageous. Familiarity with payroll software & expense management tools. Capacity to keep track of numerous ongoing tasks. Adherence to all prescribed ethical guidelines, including confidentiality. Strong sense of integrity and urgency. Ability to do fieldworks (if necessary).
