Position Summary Functionally reporting to the Segment Finance Director, the Staff Accountant will support the monthly accounting close and consolidation process in partnership and collaboration with members of the broader accounting team and other stakeholders throughout the Company. This full‑time role maintains close working relationships with Segment Controllership, Finance teams and other departments including Treasury, Legal and HR. Key Responsibilities US General Ledger accounting Consolidations and Intercompany Accounting – ownership of final consolidation and intercompany elimination, Hyperion loads, mapping Treasury Accounting – debt and interest, hedging, cash reconciliations, dividends US Ledger Accounting – shared accounting for certain activities of US and Mexico‑based businesses Support the monthly close and consolidation process including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, accruals/reserves, debt, allocations, insurance and equity Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statement analytics Drive continuous improvement and reduce cycle time in the monthly close process through technology, SOPs and efficiency measures Support internal control assessments and maintain effective internal controls of assigned processes Implement processes and controls to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and corporate accounting standards/policies Provide SEC reporting support as needed – rollforwards, support schedules Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit Professional Experience/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA or CPA equivalent preferred 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience Consolidation experience at a large, multinational company strongly preferred Experience with Oracle/SAP ERP, Hyperion and/or OneStream strongly preferred; strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word Public accounting and/or large US public company experience a plus Strong understanding and practical working knowledge of US GAAP Manufacturing experience is a plus Strong communication skills Curious mindset that proactively seeks understanding and feedback Insightful ability to identify trends and themes for continuous improvement across the function Ability to overcome obstacles and achieve objectives, changing direction along the way to achieve business objectives Motivated by and thrives in a fast‑paced environment with frequent ad hoc requests and changing priorities About Regal Rexnord Regal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates worldwide.
