· Assists the Cluster Director of Finance /Senior Finance Manager in overseeing the operation of finance functions such as management reporting, treasury, local government permit requirements, maintenance of legal register, and handling of insurance declarations and claims. · Monitors the performance of people, systems, policies, procedures, and internal controls. · Reviews the accuracy of the reports and analyses required to assess financial performance of the properties with focus on its Gross Revenues, Gross Operating Profit, Net Income After Tax (NIAT), flow-through, cash flow, working capital position (Cash, AR, A/P & Inventory) ROI and other key financial metrics that are relevant to the convention business. · Collaborate closely with the general ledger shared services team on the balance sheet analyses to ensure all issues are resolved immediately. · Manages the preparation of the company’s budget and forecast on a periodic basis to ensure accuracy and timeliness of submission. · Provides accurate and timely management reports, such as but not limited to DRR, flash reports, monthly management reports, and business plans to aid stakeholders in decision‑making. · Implements business process improvement initiatives and strategies for the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department's operations. · Reviews cost analysis (Actual vs Budget, Actual vs Forecast, Actual this year vs Actual last year) periodically to ensure effective expense management. · Maintains a documented system of finance and accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the company's policy, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards. · Supports the Cluster Director of Finance Business support in developing periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures the timely and accurate completion of work of the department. Provides support to the Cluster Director of Finance in achieving a high standard of financial information to various stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
