Job Description Lead and manage daily trucking operations, including dispatch, scheduling, and on-time delivery performance. Oversee the entire vehicle fleet (trucks, trailers, and equipment), ensuring high availability, efficient utilization, and cost control. Supervise the workshop team and mechanics, ensuring timely preventive maintenance, repairs, and spare parts management. Implement and monitor fleet tracking systems, fuel control measures, and maintenance programs. Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations, permits, safety, and environmental standards. Train, motivate, and manage drivers, dispatchers, and mechanics; enforce company policies and safety practices. Monitor KPIs (on-time performance, downtime, fuel consumption, maintenance costs) and provide regular management reports. Act as the point of contact for customers, resolving service issues and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Develop and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
