A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE
As an HR Admin Team Leader , you will play a dual role in leading a team while delivering administrative support for People & Culture (P&C) operations. You will coordinate Tier 1 HR-related requests, manage employment documentation, maintain HR systems and databases, and provide timely support to employees across the business. This role is ideal for someone passionate about people, leadership, and global collaboration in a fast-paced media and technology environment.
Your Day-to-day Tasks Include
HR Administration
  • Respond to Tier 1 P&C queries related to entitlements, policies, and processes
  • Prepare employment contracts, pre-employment checks, and general correspondence within 48 hours
  • Update payroll and HR databases, including onboarding, contract changes, and separations
  • Maintain accurate information on internal HR systems, intranet, and careers pages
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports covering recruitment, turnover, and ad hoc data
  • Manage the shared HR inbox, ensuring all inquiries are addressed within 48 hours
  • Support projects and general HR activities in collaboration with Business Partner teams
Team Leadership
  • Act as the main point of contact for escalations and complex team queries
  • Train and mentor team members, ensuring they are up to date on policies and tools
  • Attend alignment meetings with onshore counterparts to coordinate updates and initiatives
  • Brief the team on project updates, HR policy changes, and required process revisions
  • Collaborate with training teams to ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Manage complex or sensitive employee queries professionally and efficiently
General Responsibilities
  • Follow company procedures, ensuring adherence to HR best practices
  • Promote health, safety, respect, and inclusivity in the workplace
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
a Bit About You
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR Admin, HRBP, or HR Coordinator role
  • Strong customer service mindset with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask
  • Clear and professional communication in both written and verbal forms
  • High emotional intelligence, integrity, and ability to build professional relationships
  • Experience handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Passion for learning, development, and continuous process improvement
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, People & Culture, Business, or related field
