This role as Site Project/Construction Manager will ensure proper interpretation of the contract and provide technical information to the workers and other professionals assigned in the project. Select proper construction methodologies and strategies in collaboration with engineers and other construction specialists. Shows strong leadership to the team and instruct and supervise construction staff of the site activities to ensure compliance to specifications, building and safety codes, legal requirements and other regulations.

• External Communications: Help others get the most out of external communications systems by offering support and advice.
• Construction Management: Supervise others on a construction project, working within established operational systems.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization\'s health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
• Work Scheduling and Allocation: Assign short-term work schedules to a team of subordinates to achieve expectations while following established timelines.
• Leadership and Direction: Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function\'s strategy and action plan and to the broader organization\'s mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
• Performance Management: Manage personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; monitor the team, allocate work and review completion, take corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality.
• Organizational Capability Building: Provide coaching to team members to develop their skills.
• Quality Assurance: Plan and coordinate testing and inspection of products and processes; implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives and monitor them to ensure effectiveness.
• Operational Compliance: Identify noncompliance with policies and procedures and regulatory codes, reporting and escalating appropriately.
• Contracts Management: Communicate the terms and conditions of construction and consultancy contracts with clear written and verbal communications for proper interpretation of clauses, obligations, and expectations.
• Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client relationships using relevant systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent level

• General Experience: 3+ to 6 years of experience handling a variety of situations and advising others.
• Managerial Experience: Supervision of junior colleagues (7 to 12 months).
• Experience in Windfarm construction projects.
