Global Circle Lead

As a Global Circle Lead, you will be responsible to lead and manage teams across locations that supports global ING Business Partners for a wide range of financial accounting and reporting services which includes but is not limited to daily reconciliations, break resolutions, account receivable processing, month-end closing activities, monitoring suspense accounts, maintaining financial reference data, and proper electronic documentation in compliance to ING’s standards. You will also be part of a global Management Team responsible for setting strategic priorities of COO Finance and influence the organization of the future. You will help to continuously upscale the team and the Capability, ensure good working knowledge and expertise within the department to offer our customers the very best services and contribute to building a more efficient organization with engaged employees. Responsibilities Reporting lines and leadership responsibilities include: Lead and manage teams across locations that support global ING Business Partners for financial accounting and reporting services, including daily reconciliations, break resolutions, account receivable processing, month-end closing activities, monitoring suspense accounts, maintaining financial reference data, and proper electronic documentation in compliance with ING standards. Upscale the team and capability, ensure strong working knowledge and expertise within the department, and deliver high-quality services to customers while building a more efficient organization with engaged employees. Report hierarchically to the Financial Accounting Area Lead in Finance Services ING Hubs Philippines and functionally to the Global COOF Financial Accounting Super Circle Lead. What you are good at Developing high – performing teams and empowering teams to act autonomously and holding them accountable Strong communication skills and international stakeholder management Experience in (complex) project management with a proven track record in continuous improvement and change management Flexibility to adapt plans, approaches, and behaviors to different needs, cultures, and situations Experience with steering on output Ability to manage multiple business partners globally Result-driven, used to work with tight deadlines and able to push things forward persistently Well organized, proactive, and hands-on to deliver high quality output and services Analytical, autonomous, adaptable, and able to turn problems into workable solutions Proven verbal and written communication skills in English What you have Proven track record in managing Finance Operations for at least 3–5 years Experience in a complex and dynamic Banking and Service Delivery environment with relevant experience in Financial Accounting and Financial reporting Knowledge in banking products and financial instruments Knowledge of IFRS-EU and preferably a Certified Public Accountant Capability to manage a team of 20+ people cross-locations Agility, flexibility and openness to learn and be trained to challenge peers and Management What you can do Ensure that your Circle is delivering the right Service Delivery by being competent, capable, and focusing on the right priorities to achieve goals Take a leadership role, moving strategic priorities to executable plans and action Facilitate, support and motivate employees in COO Finance Create high–performing teams and remove impediments; stimulate interaction within and outside your domain Be accountable for executing risk & control compliance and mitigation of business and operational risks; ensure regulatory compliance across your Circle Continuous improvement of processes, services and administration within your Circle Develop the expertise of the department and the personal development of its members Act as a role model while safeguarding ING values Facilitate the transition of COO Finance to the One Way of Working With whom you would like to work Self-organized teams globally Experts and Senior Stakeholders Active collaboration with multiple departments within ING What you want Work in vibrant Makati, the country’s economic center Enjoy competitive compensation and allowances Be part of a diverse, creative, and energized team #J-18808-Ljbffr
