The Accounting Officer is responsible for overseeing the integrity of all financial transactions, ensuring accurate reporting, managing daily operations, and ensuring compliance. Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Manages a team of 4 Accounting Staff. Handle end-to-end payroll processing, including the accurate computation of salaries, deductions, and government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and withholding tax). Reconcile bank statements and all other financial accounts on a regular and timely basis. Prepare and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information to internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of all required documents for audits and provide primary support during audit processes. Monitor daily cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for operational needs. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations. Utilize financial software and systems for accurate record-keeping and reporting. Reporting to the Finance Manager on all aspects of accounting operations and for guidance. Other related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate line manager or senior management. Core Competencies & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred. Proven experience in general accounting, with demonstrated experience in a senior or supervisory capacity. Direct, hands‑on experience with full‑cycle payroll processing and Philippine government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR). In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles and standards. Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
