Senior Azure Infrastructure

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage our enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure. This role combines hands‑on infrastructure engineering with cloud architecture responsibilities, requiring both technical depth and strategic thinking to support our organization’s cloud initiatives. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Azure infrastructure solutions including virtual networks, compute resources, storage, and security services Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep Manage identity and access management using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), RBAC, and Conditional Access policies Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design cloud solutions aligned with business requirements Develop reference architectures and technical standards for Azure deployments Evaluate and recommend Azure services and solutions to meet technical and business needs Design for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity in Azure environments Ensure architectural designs follow cloud best practices, security frameworks, and compliance requirements Automation & DevOps Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights Develop PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python scripts for automation and operational efficiency Performance & Optimization Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization and costs Conduct capacity planning and scaling strategies Implement cost optimization measures and Azure Cost Management practices Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Collaborate with development teams, security teams, and other stakeholders Document architectures, procedures, and runbooks Participate in on‑call rotation for production support Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with at least 3 years focused on Azure Strong hands‑on experience with Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security) Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep) Experience with Azure networking and hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute) Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and best practices Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Understanding of security principles and compliance frameworks Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS) Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus) Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) Knowledge of Azure landing zones and Cloud Adoption Framework Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning Technical Skills Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep Soft Skills Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders Excellent documentation and knowledge‑sharing abilities Collaborative mindset and team‑oriented approach Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills Ability to work in fast‑paced, dynamic environments Customer‑focused with commitment to service excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr
