Overview
Graduate HR Generalist APAC role based in Mandaue. This role partners with managers to execute HR strategies focusing on Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and Labor Relations for the vessel division.
Responsibilities- Talent Management
- Partner with Business Unit Head in managing talent management and development, including establishing career paths, building internal & external pipelines, and aligning training plans.
- Coach and support key leaders in creating robust development plans to meet business needs.
- Ensure execution of processes that build stronger groups.
- Manage and align succession and retention planning.
- Coordinate with the Talent Management Specialist in executing talent strategies to support growth/strategic objectives.
- Identify and assess organizational effectiveness.
- Lead management of organizational changes and manage employees\' expectations to avoid resistance to change management.
- Employee Engagement
- Plan and develop activities to promote motivation and engagement levels of employees.
- Talent Acquisition
- Manage and monitor department-approved headcount.
- Keep track of resignations, retirements, and terminations.
- Validate additional headcount requests based on budget, demand, and workload.
- Assist in securing necessary approvals for hiring requests.
- Monitor hiring success rate and align hiring challenges with the Talent Acquisition Team and Hiring Manager.
- Extend, discuss, and negotiate approved offers to identified candidates.
- Compensation and Benefits
- Initiate discussion between Total Rewards and key leaders to standardize the Rewards & Recognition program.
- Review compensation for new hires, potential and critical talents for salary adjustments, upgrades, and promotions.
- Conduct reviews with Functional Heads on performance evaluations and bonus plans per department.
- Coordinate benefits administration in partnership with Shared Services.
- Labor Relations
- Facilitate LR strategies, guidelines, and initiatives to ensure industrial peace and a sustainable organization.
- Review incident reports and issue notices where appropriate.
- Facilitate mediation and finalize decisions; present updated policies and procedures on time.
- Partner with Corporate Legal to handle administrative cases and ensure due process to avoid future litigation.
- Exit Management
- Facilitate exit interviews for all outgoing employees (resignation, retirement, termination).
- Review and evaluate exit clearances and ensure proper handover to Total Rewards for final pay.
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in Human Resources, with prior experience in a Human Resource Business Partner role.
- Preferably experience in FMCG or Shipping industries.
- Excellent account management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong critical thinking, people management, and leadership skills; high regard for confidentiality.
- Willing to work in Tondo.

- Conduct interviews (initial and exit)
- Collect and monitor completion of new hire pre-employment requirements
- Responsible for all pre-onboarding documentation of new hires
- Coordinate with Recruitment on updates from job offers to completion of pre-employment requirements
- Timely update of employee database and creation/maintenance of employees\' 201 files
- Administer onboarding and orientation for trainees and new employees
- Maintain employee personnel records
- Implementation of policies
- Internal communications regarding announcements, changes, and company policies
- Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
- 2+ years of HR experience
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate activities
- Clear verbal communication with candidates and managers
- Proficient writing to produce reports
- Leadership abilities to delegate tasks and train new employees
- Main Internet Speed: jitter < 10 ms, latency < 160 ms, upload > 25 Mbps, download > 40 Mbps
