TheLead Copywriter takes on a hybrid role that combines exceptional content creation with leadership and strategic responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned writer and creative thinker who thrives on crafting compelling narratives while mentoring a team and driving innovation. As a Lead Copywriter, you will oversee client-facing deliverables, guide a team of writers, and spearhead the adoption of AI-driven tools and processes to elevate the writing team’s efficiency and quality.

What You'll Do Content Writing (60%)
  • Develop and refine brand personality, including tone and voice, tailored to each client.
  • Write compelling content that reflects the brand’s personality and engages users effectively.
  • Craft copy, prose, and narratives for websites, applications, and presentations that clearly communicate the brand’s message.
  • Conduct in-depth research on client industries to address specific user needs.
  • Collaborate with designers to create cohesive brand experiences by pairing strong copy with impactful visuals.
Team Oversight and Development (20%)
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on work produced by Brand and UX Writers
  • Ensure all content meets high standards of quality, brand alignment, and user engagement.
  • Mentor and guide team members on copywriting, fostering growth and development in their roles.
  • Collaborate with the strategy team to align the team’s output with broader business and client goals.
  • Establish and refine internal content processes and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
AI Process Development (20%)
  • Lead the adoption of AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and creativity in content creation.Research and identify opportunities to integrate AI tools and processes into the writing team’s workflows
  • Train the team on utilizing AI tools effectively and ensure alignment with brand standards.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations in AI and content creation to maintain a competitive edge.
What You Should Have:
  • 5+ years proven experience as a Senior Writer, Content Lead, Content Strategist, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team of writers.
  • Portfolio showcasing websites, apps, and other content where you led and created storytelling strategies.
  • Expertise in writing and editing content that adapts to a variety of brands, voices, and tones.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and processes for content creation or a strong interest in learning and applying them.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword research to optimize content.
