Finance Transformation Project Coordinator

Overview

Seeking a Finance Transformation Project Coordinator to support design and implementation of a transformative global project for its Finance organization. The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Lead and Executive Project Sponsors and support Finance leaders worldwide on a high-profile initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in transitioning various accounting duties from regional offices to service centers in North America, Ireland, and the Philippines.
  • Perform transition activities until handover of roles and tasks is completed to the above centers, including nhưng (but not limited to): Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and consolidated financial uploads.
  • Support targeted process redesign following Lean Six Sigma methodology.
  • Act as liaison with IT and other functional groups to drive issue resolution.
  • Assist in developing day-by-day training plans during transition.
  • Support project resourcing and adherence to budgets.
  • Engage with project stakeholders to address needs and concerns; coordinate with Finance Transformation leads for proper communication.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience with transition of Finance processes and activities.
  • Familiarity with Finance systems/tools (MAS/Sage, SAP, HFM, Concur, Esker, etc.).
  • Familiarity with core Finance processes: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Accounting.
  • Process redesign experience; familiarity with process engineering tools.
  • Project management skills: maintaining project plans, budgets, benefits tracking, PMO oversight.
  • Availability for travel throughout the project.
  • Proficient communication using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; SharePoint a plus.
  • Able to report onsite and work on mid/night shifts.
  • Experience in transitioning finance processes to Shared Services/Global centers.
Experience
  • 2+ years in transition of Finance processes or related area (required).
  • 2+ years in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/General Ledger/ Cash application/Month-end close (required).
  • 2+ years in Shared Services/BPO environment (required).
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
  • Transportation service provided
  • Night shift; 8-hour shift
Work Arrangement
  • Onsite work required in Taguig City
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements
