• Responsibilities include: providing daily financial oversight to ensure that records are complete, accurate, and compliant with GAAP, policies and regulations; supporting Month-End Closing Activities & Reporting; performing Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Bank Reconciliations & Payment Allocation; coordinating Fixed Assets close, Intercompany transactions, Invoices & Payments; and ensuring monthly close deadlines are met.
• Process and post journal entries for routine transactions; prepare supporting schedules and analyze reconciliations; manage cash receipts and banking; perform bank reconciliations; monitor Balance Sheet accounts; analyze financial information; provide technical support on management reports; review and modify accounting processes to strengthen internal controls; prepare financial statements and maintain accounts.
• Direct internal and external audits for compliance; participate in month-end and year-end close; process payments (Standard, Urgent/Manual); develop and document accounting procedures; communicate in English; maintain high attention to detail; work independently with minimal daily direction; meet deadlines; deliver courteous customer service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred but not required
• 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP, IAS and IFRS concepts; ERP knowledge (preferably SAP); Hyperion Financial Management; proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; highly organized; able to work independently
