QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, International Business, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of INCOTERMS, international shipping procedures, and customs regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities in logistics operations.
• Proficient in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and ability to perform under pressure in critical logistics situations.
• Collaborative team player with experience working across departments and international partners.
• Familiarity with trade-related software and platforms.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee all operational aspects of international import and export activities.
• compliance with FDA, USDA, FSIS, and global food safety and labeling regulations.
• Coordinate multimodal logistics under time-sensitive or special handling conditions (cold chain, urgent air freight, cross-docking).
• Prepare, review, and manage international trade documents (invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates, permits).
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with vendors, customs brokers, freight forwarders, logistics partners, and government agencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, QA, procurement, warehouse) for seamless border clearance.
• Monitor and interpret trade agreements, customs changes, tariffs, and trade restrictions.
• Manage customs clearance and classification to ensure accuracy and reduce duty exposure.
• Support audits, inspections, and traceability reporting for customs and regulatory authorities.
• Contribute to process improvements and digital transformation initiatives in trade compliance and logistics efficiency (ERP, TMS, or GTS systems).
