WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Identify training needs through collaboration with department heads, HR, and performance appraisal systems
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective training programs, both in-person and through digital platforms, to enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and professional development
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant and up-to-date training content, ensuring alignment with industry best practices
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms, assessments, and key performance indicators, making data-driven improvements as necessary
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in learning and development to continuously enhance the company's training initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and other learning events to promote a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement
  • Coordinate with external training providers when necessary, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of external training programs
  • Support the onboarding process by developing and delivering orientation and training sessions for new employees
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and results

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Strong understanding of learning and development principles, adult learning theories, and instructional design methodologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning platforms
  • Analytical skills to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and interpret data
  • Proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
  • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
