Procurement Assistant

About the role

Ayala Property Management Corporation (APMC) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team. As a full-time member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement processes and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials and services to our property management operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement-related documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure prompt delivery of ordered items
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including inventory levels and outstanding orders
  • Support the procurement team in the implementation of policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes by identifying and implementing process enhancements
Requirements
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in the use of procurement software, spreadsheets, and other relevant technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Familiarity with relevant procurement regulations and best practices
