Paralegal Admin Assistant

We are looking for a staff member with experience with Migration legal work and liaising with clients in preparing partner visa applications (working under our lawyers who handles all our family/partner visa applications).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Admin work includes converting the prospect to client in a CRM program called Migration Manager. Assist in processing a wide range of visas and permits for Australia, including Temporary and Permanent Visas, Skilled Migration programs, Student Visas, Visit Visas, Family Visas, and Citizenship applications. Track application statuses and update clients on progress. Sending out scheduled emails and checklists throughout the process. Collaborate with lawyers on what to look for with any supporting documents provided (inconsistent dates or statements with respect to sponsor, visa applicant and supporting witness statements). Serve as a point of contact for clients, answering and making phone calls, responding to inquiries, and scheduling appointments with professionalism and courtesy. Call on our Lawyers if the situation gets complex. Reviews data and documents filled, signed, and submitted by the clients with accuracy and eye for detail. Hand over reviewed and validated documents to the designated lawyers. Provide administrative assistance to lawyers. Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Migration Assistant/Administrator. Has experience in handling Australian clients is preferred. Knowledge in Migration Manager is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools such as Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, etc. Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field
