Job Purpose:

  • Manage a portfolio of customers and serve as their primary point of contact.
  • Drive business growth, oversee project execution and profitability, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key accountabilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for customers, addressing all their concerns effectively.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture within the company.
  • Monitor and measure customer satisfaction consistently.
  • Provide valuable customer insights to identify business opportunities, trends, and competitor activities.
  • Expand business by offering existing/new products to customers, understanding their needs, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Lead tender processes and negotiations, ensuring a smooth transition from tender phase to contract phase.
  • Support project execution success in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Take charge of project Profit & Loss management, ensuring timely invoicing and cash collection.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and compliance regulations in all customer interactions.
  • Utilize Alstom standard tools effectively.

Required Experience and Competencies:

  • Graduate Degree in Engineering or Business field. MBA or Engineering Master's degree is preferred.
  • 15-20 years of experience in the Rail industry or project management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, entrepreneurship, innovation, and cultural awareness.
  • Prior experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with international exposure being beneficial.
  • Skilled in team leadership, people management, and assessing business risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Intermediate level of contractual & legal knowledge and negotiation expertise.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities and relationship management skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and international mindset with proficient language skills.
