Job Summary

Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily warehouse and logistic activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.

Duties & Responsibilities

Inventory Management

Support inventory management by reconciling and maintaining accurate inventory of items, segregation of good from defective items, proper piling and standard stacking level per itemMust ensure First in First Out in the management of inventory. Must report if items are near expiry and expired. Must be proactive in making plans ensuring inventory will be depleted before expiry dateMust take regular stock of the inventory, keeping systems up to date by producing regular reports, and planning for future capacity requirementsDevelop & execute daily, weekly & monthly action plans that increase quality, inventory accuracy & serviceEstablish & maintain Inventory handling proceduresEnsure compliance & consistency to company policies & procedures surrounding Inventory Control & QualityPlan for & identify root causes of inventory deviation through cause & effect analysisLogisticsMust understand customer needs and be able to apply the knowledge in improving warehouse operationMust plan, implement and control the efficient flow/delivery of goods in order to meet customer's demandConstantly be thinking of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies. Suggest solutions for improvement to top managementMust manage Logistic teams carefully to ensure that the members of the logistics team can deliver effective, efficient delivery performanceEnsure cost efficiency to the overall cost of the operationJob QualificationsA graduate of any business-related, computer or engineering courseWith at least 3-5 years of experience in supervising warehouse and logistics operationsMust have strong leadership and supervisory skills, able to efficiently plan delivery to ensure customer service satisfactionWith strong background in SAPMust be able to motivate a workforce and encourage strong teamworkProficiency in Microsoft Office is requiredWith good interpersonal skillsHas right attitude towards work and good coordination skillsProficient in English and Filipino language, both verbal and writtenHighly analytical and can work well with data for presentation, reporting and action planningIn-depth knowledge in inventory process and policies creation
