The Communications Intern is expected to help share the Ninja Van story, its products, and services to the target audience. The Communications Intern will be immersed in the promotion and branding initiatives, and internal communication activities of Ninja Van.

Responsibilities:

External communicationsGain an understanding of the company story, its people, services and operations, and stakeholdersMonitor and flag Ninja Van media coverage, and relevant competitor and industry news to help draw strategic insights for communication activitiesResearch on communication activities and media channels to assist in delivering high-level placementsWork closely with the department in the execution of external communication activities such as Internal CommunicationsCoordinate with other departments in planning and executing internal communication activities Help cultivate the company's existing relationships with government, business associations, civil society groups, and other stakeholders that will be relevant to overall company objectivesQualifications:Enrolled in journalism, marketing, communications, business administration, or related fieldStrong writing and oral communication skills Experience in graphic design and laying out publicity, event, and school promotional materialsExperience in campus journalism/publications; creative writing classes/organizationsInterest in news and current affairsInterest in event and project managementInterest in influencer marketing, social media marketing, and stakeholder mappingA passion for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentAdept multitasker with the ability to quickly prioritizeA personable self-starter, able to build good connections with both internal and external stakeholders Excellent verbal and written communication and a creative thinker Proficient in Google suite and a good comfort level using enterprise software
