Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with Key Teams: Work closely with the Merchant Team to promote new features and offers, and with the HR Team to ensure cohesive internal communications.
  • Crisis Communication: Serve as a key figure in managing public crises, ensuring quick, effective responses to any issues that arise.
  • Event Representation & Networking: Represent BillEase at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, enhancing the company's external partnerships and presence.
  • Content Creation: Manage the creation of compelling, SEO-optimized content for BillEase's corporate blog and marketing campaigns, and oversee the company's social media presence (with a focus on LinkedIn).
  • Internal Communications: Collaborate with HR to streamline communication initiatives that drive internal engagement.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Use of AI and Digital Tools: Leverage AI tools for efficient communications processes and innovative content strategies.
Requirements
  • Proactive and Experienced: At least 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing, with a proven track record across multiple industries (banking, finance, fintech experience a plus).
  • Strong Media and PR Relationships: Experience working with media outlets, managing public relations strategies, and handling crisis communications.
  • Marketing or PR Agency Experience: Previous experience in marketing or public relations agencies is highly desirable.
  • Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Must be a creative and strategic thinker, capable of solving problems quickly and managing communications crises with poise.
  • Collaboration Skills: Must be able to work cross-functionally with HR, Marketing, and Merchant teams to drive internal and external communications.
  • Social and Outgoing: Strong networking abilities, as this individual will be representing BillEase at events and public forums.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, social media management, and digital tools like Google Analytics, MoEngage, and WordPress.
  • Tools Mastery: Must be quick to learn new tools and adapt to fast-paced startup.
