The essential responsibility of the Inventory Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels of medical supplies, equipment, and other relevant items essential across KPCI branches. The role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure that adequate stock is available, minimizing waste, and optimizing cost-effectiveness.

Key responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Maintaining precise records of medical supplies, equipment, and consumables, conducting regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with records, and ensuring timely removal and replacement of expired medical supplies through coordination with relevant departments.Ordering and Procurement: Collaborating with suppliers for timely and cost-effective delivery of medical supplies, generating purchase orders based on stock levels and demand forecasts, and evaluating supplier performance while negotiating favorable contracts.Stock Replenishment: Forecasting inventory needs considering clinic activity, seasonality, and events, coordinating with staff and departments to determine stock requirements for timely replenishment, and implementing efficient reorder point systems to prevent both stockouts and overstock situations.Quality Control: Ensures received supplies meet quality standards, collaborating with relevant departments to address quality concerns, and facilitating the return or replacement of defective items when necessary.Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining organized records of all inventory transactions, such as receipts, issues, and adjustments. Additionally, the role involves generating regular reports on inventory levels, consumption trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with clinic staff to understand their specific inventory needs and collaborating with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate financial reporting related to inventory.Compliance and Regulation: Staying informed about relevant regulations and standards related to medical supplies and inventory management. Additionally, the role requires ensuring that all inventory-related activities comply with both regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Qualification:
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess excellent communication skills, fostering effective collaboration with different departments, clients and vendors.
- Exhibits the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Performs tasks and assignments with both speed and precision.
- Maintains a positive and professional attitude towards work, clients, colleagues, the Company, its affiliates, as well as its directors, officers, and employees.
- Approaches work with humility, embracing opportunities to learn and fulfill duties diligently.
